We are honored and thrilled to be able to donate Persona Gift Pails “all dressed up” for the holidays to The Arc of the Rappahannock (ARC). ARC is a wonderful organization that provides services and advocacy to very special members of the Fredericksburg, VA community. Each individual that ARC serves lives with an intellectual or developmental disability . . . some are very young and some are older, some have families and some are all alone. But, thanks to ARC’s Santa’s Helpers program, ALL will wake up Christmas morning to find a gift from Santa!
A special thanks to the FASA Unity Elite soccer team for creating the Persona Pails for ARC during their holiday party. As the photos below show, the girls had a great time as “Santa’s Helpers,” especially knowing that the pails will put smiles on faces Christmas morning!
This is one of our first Personas with a Purpose events . . . our goal for 2011 is not only to hold more of our own events but also to promote the program as a team building tool. Business and organizations can host team building events for their employees/members to create Persona Pails, fill them with gifts & goodies and then donate the pails to local charities across the country. It’s a win-win! For more information on Personas with a Purpose, please call 800-591-7715 or email cast@personagiftpail.com.
